Job Title: Social Media - Marketing Intern 

Commitment: Part-Time (5-10 hours a week)

Location: Hybrid - some onsite work will be required (Rutledge, GA)

Compensation: Hourly: $15 - $17 (dependent on experience) + commission opportunities

Academy Mill Farm is looking to hire a creative social media - marketing intern who will be in charge of creating, curating, and managing all social media and marketing materials. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is just starting out and is passionate about regenerative agriculture, livestock, and content creation. 

Qualifications: 

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Some experience in content creation and management 
  • Experience with Canva, Capcut, Adobe Illustrator, MailChimp, or any other creation platform
  • Some knowledge of regenerative agriculture, farming, or agroecological farming practices 
  • Passionate about expanding knowledge about regenerative agriculture and exploring new methods and practicalities
  • Ability to work with people from different backgrounds, religions, and beliefs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous professional experience with social media and content management
  • Previous experience on a regenerative farm
  • Experience with farmers markets 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, curate, and post creative content (text, image, and video)
  • Create marketing materials - flyers, banners, magnets, etc. 
  • Write, edit, and send out monthly newsletter
  • Manage all social media accounts - track analytics and engagement
  • Set up and maintain a social media schedule for daily, weekly, and monthly posts
  • Keep track of social media trends, especially relevant to the farming and the  environmental conservation world
  • Work with manager to create, edit, and produce content as needed
